PUSC 2026 1st Plenary Meeting : Building Tomorrow, Today
Cikarang, October 19, 2025 - On Friday, October 17, 2025, the President University Student Council (PUSC) 2026 conducted its first Plenary Meeting at the Charles Himawan Auditorium at President University. The Plenary Meeting serves as a monthly forum to discuss the future targets, current ongoing performance, and goals achieved by all PUSC Commissions and the Internal Bureau since their inauguration. All members of PUSC 2026 attended the Plenary Meeting.
The meeting began with an opening speech from Bilqis Aisya Nuri as the Chairperson of PUSC 2026, followed by reading of the meeting’s rules and regulations. The meeting proceeded with singing the Indonesia Raya and Mars President University by all attendees. Following that, all Commissions and the Internal Bureau presented their work plans with their respective timeline.
The presentations opened with the Board of Directors, which included thorough explanations about the updates on what they have done and what they will do. As the Commissions and the Internal Bureau did, they also elaborated the obstacles they are currently facing, as well as the prediction of what struggles they might go through. Then, the General Secretary and General Treasurer showed the event distributions and each of their parts in upcoming events. Lastly, they concluded with the reveal of the Project Manager and Vice Project Manager for the upcoming events.
In their presentation, Commission I, as researchers of PUSC, talked about the timeline and research flow they plan to conduct throughout the year. Commission I will do research and event training, and then proceed to conduct three comprehensive research projects. After explaining their research project, they elaborated on the events that will be conducted under Commission I, which are Campus Compass 2026 and INNOVERSE 2026. As their presentation concludes, Ahmad Fikri Alfatah as Vice Chairperson II encourages all members of PUSC to join the committee, especially the internal PUSC event.
Commission II as mediators, gave a progress update of their meetup, training sessions with former members, and an introduction meeting to the management and their advisor. After that, they elaborated on PUSC: PAY ATTENTION and Forum Feedback Report. Both serve as a platform for students as well as student organizations to freely give their aspirations for Commission II to process and report. They also mentioned that both work plans will be uploaded for transparency, after they gather student’s aspirations through online and offline approach methods. To close the presentation, the Chair reminded all of Commission II as well as all members of PUSC 2026 to remain neutral at any decision making regarding the students and the management, as well as to continuously assist Commission II in collecting aspirations from President University students.
Then, Commission III as legislators, revealed their progress on the legal products that they have drafted and that they are currently working on. They informed that they have completed the template of sanction letters, and are currently working on several legal products, such as: Regulation Number 2 regarding Rules of Supervisors from PUSC 2026, Regulation Number 3 regarding PUFA and PUMA, and Decree Number 1. More of their work plans include judicial training, legal drafting, the student congress, judicial review, and becoming the law enforcement of PUGE. Finishing off their presentation, all members of PUSC 2026 are furthermore reminded to maintain professionalism throughout their period in PUSC 2026.
Afterwards, Commission IV as supervisors, who will ensure effective oversight of PUSB work plans and efficient coordination of the Clubs and Communities proposal process, then explained their work plans, consisting of Supervisor General Meeting, Supervisor Consultation, Supervisor Forums and Supervisor training, as well as Project Manager and Vice Project Manager training. Lastly they presented Special Consultation by Commission IV, in which all members of PUSC can come to them to consult if they are interested in participating as an event committee under any organizations, and they will help them according to their needs while also going through a detailed flow.
Lastly, the Internal Bureau gave a status report on their performance and their upcoming work plans. The Public Relations team conveyed that they have created several broadcasts, and edited as well as uploaded content on PUSC’s TikTok account. As of right now, they are preparing for the PUSC 2026 photoshoot and video profile mood board, in addition to making the content bank and for future PUSC content. Simultaneously, the Graphic Designer team has already created several story templates and are working on future posts designs. Thirdly, the Internal Affairs team has worked on the PUSC members data collection and will begin celebrating members birthdays along with working towards the PUSC 2026 pin and badge, as well as their varsity jackets.
After all the presentations, the 1st Plenary Meeting concluded with a closing speech and evaluation by the Chairperson of PUSC 2026. In conclusion, the purpose of this Plenary Meeting is aimed at strengthening coordination and clarifying each PUSC division’s work plans, particularly for all PUSC 2026 members, and the meeting was brought to a close at 21:45 West Indonesia Time.
